***LONG COURSE CLUB RECORDS UPDATED***

Following on from all the club records broken at the Yorkshire Championships, we have seen continued record breaking success from Luke Booth, Eve Doherty and Mollie Fisher.

Luke set the bar high on 25th March in Sheffield by beating George Russell’s 2015 record in the Open Boys 1500m freestyle with a time of 16:29.69.  Just a week later, also in Sheffield, he then went on to knock over 9s from his own Open Boys 800m freestyle record with a time of 8:37.27.

On 13th March in Coventry, Eve broke Georgina Whysall’s 1997 record in the U15 Girls 100m freestyle with a time of 59.54s.  She then went on to break her own record in the U15 Girls 50m freestyle with a time of 27.61s in Sheffield on 3rd April and at the same time breaking the open record also set by Georgina Whysall in 1998.

On 11th March in Stockport, Mollie broke her own record on the Open Girls 1500m freestyle with a time of 17:54.05 only to better it just 2 weeks later in Sheffield with a time of 17:52.09.
